1.
The time has come to figure how to make it past the urgency of now. A way not to concede this ground. Saving face to save our lives, the past a trap that hope belies. Self righteous indignation to keep me from trying. It never seems we want to say it's time to find a better way. The past we knew can't be sustained. Hopes and dreams are still the fashion standing in the way of action. "Everything will work itself out" to keep us from trying.

How many more times? It's just this one last time. How many more times? Just give it one more shot. How many more times to get the same result? How many more times and opportunities blown? The easy way has become a crutch. The rules have changed you gotta keep up. Tried and true has become a lie. How many more times will you let your progress stall? How many more times will you beat your head against the wall? How many more times to get the same result? How many more times and opportunities blown?

Post Peak 01:51
Words have lost their meaning. Facts are for the gullible. The leaders of the hopeful times all rendered inconsolable. The spirit of the times has turned because spirit has no merit. Excitement drowned in cynicism - no history to inherit. The slogans seem so hollow now, the symbols all co-opted. If guerilla war struggle is the new entertainment why would we ever stop it?

about

Patched together in the studio in the tumultuous days of waning lockdowns and anti-mask protests mostly from bit and pieces we had bouncing around in our heads.
